Mt. Humphreys

Hi All,
Janice, Pico and I hiked up to the top of Mt. Humphreys last Saturday. My Humphreys is the tallest point in AZ. It is about a 9.5 mile round trip hike. It is the first time I have hiked in AZ and felt like I was in CO.

This is a picture taken above the tree line. We had to follow the ridge line up to the point.

Here are some pictures of the trail.

Here are some views on the way up and way down.

Here is the summit shot.

As you can see from Janice's clothes, the weather was rather windy and cold.

Then clouds started coming in. We were up there for about a half hour and it was a very cool mix of sun and clouds.

These two videos speak for themselves.

Peace Out,
Geoff

Sweet! I don't know what makes me happier: Reading your blogs, or knowing you get to go play with your best friend! (O.K. reading your blogs takes the #2 spot).
